  • You can book a study space on campus for one or two hours.
  • Bookings can be made between 8:15am and 10:15pm.
  • The library is open 24 hours a day. You do not need to book spaces in the library after 10:15pm or before 8:15am.
  • All other campus buildings are closed after 10:15pm.
  • You can book up to two hours per day for each category of space.
  • Bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance.

The rooms are only available for students who have been granted card access from Disability Services or the Assistive Technology team.

If you book the Assistive Technology room without card access, you will not be able to enter when you arrive.

The rooms are located in the Library, Level 2 (Room 2.10b and Room 2.10c) and are open 24hr.

Both rooms are equipped with:

  • Automatic doors
  • Ergonomic workstations with height adjustable desks and ergonomic chairs
  • Computers with position adjustable, standard or touchscreen monitors and Assistive Technology Software
  • Networked, low level colour printers/scanners
  • Additional space for students wishing to use their own laptops
  • Dimmable lights
  • Whiteboards

Additionally, in the room 2.10b, students can access:

  • A Braille Embosser,
  • An electronic magnifier
  • A Projector
